…has been with Benchmark Business Sales & Valuations since September 2005 after leaving a corporate management position. He was responsible in 2010 for establishing Benchmarks’ specialist ‘Franchise Sales’ division, where he lead the franchise team for approximately 7 years. This role saw Ian managing and mentoring a sales team of specialist franchise business brokers. In October 2017, Ian stepped out of the franchise division to focus on a new division for Benchmark Business Sales.
Being a 100% performance-based broker means that Ian is dedicated to producing the best results possible for his many clients through the application of hard-earned knowledge, experience, and insistence upon the upholding of professional standards.
As a senior broker for Benchmark, Ian is generous with his time towards assisting, training, and mentoring other brokers within Benchmark along the way. It’s only through hard work and applying his knowledge, dedication, and professionalism that allows him to achieve high results and the best outcomes for his clients.
Ian has spent years building professional relationships and actively interacts with a network of like-minded professionals, such as; Solicitors, Bank Managers, Accountants, Finance Brokers, State Managers, National Managers, and Master Franchisors, not only to assist with the sale process for either a buyer or seller, but also to stay in touch with any industry changes. Ian’s business sales have been diverse over the years with sales in; i.e. and even a – to name a few,.…he has had success in all of these industries. He is happy to speak with any buyer or seller and assist them through understanding the process of buying or selling any business.
Away from work, Ian enjoys music – (both as a professional musician and listening to music). Ian and his family are very active and are involved in many sporting pursuits including basketball, rugby league, martial arts, and his love for personal health, fitness and well-being gives Ian the spark and energy required to perform at a high level daily.
